Islamabad (October 10, 2017): The National Assembly on Tuesday passed The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues (Amendment) Bill, 2017, while the house deferred consideration of six Bill presented by treasury member Marvi Memon.
As per details, the National Assembly session was held with Deputy Speaker Murtaza Abbasi in the chair. During the session, MQM member Kishwar Zehra presented The National Assembly on Tuesday passed The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues (Amendment) Bill, 2017 in the house which was approved.
MNA Baber Nawaz also tabled a Anti-Human Smuggling Bill in the house.
Six Bill including checking acid attack in the country were tabled by Marvi Memon. The House deferred consideration of the bills. The House today passed a resolution urging the government to take steps to deal with the propaganda against Balochistan wisely and vigorously at international fora.
In another resolution, the government was urged to take immediate steps to establish Baba Guru Nanak Sahib International University at Nankana Sahib.In yet another resolution, the National Assembly called upon the government to take measures to reduce indirect taxation in the country.
The House was then adjourned to meet again tomorrow morning at ten thirty.
