Islamabad (September 27, 2017): National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Aviation has issued a stern warning to the top management of national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to clean up their act or face dismissal.
Expressing extremely dissatisfaction at the dismal performance of the national flag carrier airlines chairman of the Committee Rana Hayat Khan said that PIA has failed t implement the decisions of the Committee made one year ago.
Saying that PIA continues reeking from the inefficiencies still Rana blamed the airlines’ management for its destruction.
Issuing a stern warning Rana warned the PIA officials that if they fail to implement the decisions of the Aviation Standing Committee within 24 hours they would be suspended.
It may be mentioned here that Former bureaucrat Dr Musharraf Rasool Cyan took over the helms of the financially troubled airlines on the 6th of this month as its chief executive officer (CEO).
