Islamabad (November 23, 2018): National Assembly Session has commenced at the Parliament House in Islamabad today.
According to details, Chairman NA Asad Qaiser is heading the session.
Moreover, Opposition leader Shehabaz Sharif is attending the session after Accountability watchdogs NAB received Productions orders for Shehbaz from the speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser yesterday (November 22).
The Production orders have enabled PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif to attend the National Assembly session held today.
According to sources, Shehbaz, under NAB custody flew to Islamabad at 9 am today via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-652.Earlier on November 16, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders submitted a formal request to National Assembly Speaker (NA) Asad Qaisar to issue production order of Opposition Leader in NA Shehbaz Sharif.
As per details, members of the main opposition PML-N submitted an application in the office of National Assembly Speaker, requesting Speaker Asad Qaiser to issue a production order for opposition leader and party president Shahbaz Sharif.
The application was signed by Khawaja Asif, Shiza Khawaja and Marriyum Aurangzeb requesting Speaker Asad Qaiser to issue production orders for Shahbaz Sharif so that he could attend the session of the National Assembly held on Friday, November 23.
The PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif is under NAB custody with regard to charges pertaining to Ashiana Housing Scheme.
