ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Friday unanimously passed a resolution against the unprovoked firing at LoC, wherein seven Pakistani soldiers were martyred.
The National Assembly met here with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair. During the session, members from both sides of the political divide paid huge tributes to the soldiers martyred in Indian firing at LoC. The house offered Fateha for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Berjis Tahir tabled the resolution in the house, condemning the unprovoked firing and shelling at LoC from across the border.
The House took serious cognizance of the unprovoked and barbarian attack on the Pakistani border forces by the Indian army resulting in aggression and clashes.
Through resolution, the House recognized the sacrifices of Pakistan army and paid glowing tribute to the martyred soldiers for their valour.
The resolution was adopted by the house unanimously.
