Islamabad (December 13, 2018): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved 16 inquiries on corruption complaints Thursday against politicians and bureaucrats.
The decision was taken in the executive board meeting of the anti-graft watchdog chaired by the chairman justice retired Javed Iqbal as the board has also given approval filing of references in two cases.

According to details, inquiries have been approved against PPP leader Nisar Khuro and officials of Sukkur department of food, former MNA Sabir Shah and department of levy tax collection DI Khan officials, former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon, Abdul Kareem Soomro, Sardar Qaisar Abbas and other officials.
The meeting declaration stated that the inquiries will also be conducted against the officials of National Power Park Company, Government Holding company, LNG and LNG terminal and Lakhra powerhouse Jam Shuro.
The anti-graft watchdog has given a green signal of the probe against KP Development Authority and administration of Jinnah Medical College.
Chairman NAB has given approval filing of reference against former chairman workers welfare board Khawaja Siddique Akbar, Dr Ameer Khan Jogazai, Pervez Memon and other officials.
