ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday has given the approval of filing of three references and conducting of three inquiries in various corruption cases.
The decision was taken in anti-graft watchdog meeting presided over by chairman justice retired Javed Iqbal.
According to the declaration, issued after the meeting, the meeting has approved references against a member of Omni group Khawaja Anwar Majeed and others on the charges of money laundering and causing the loss of Rs 340 million to the national exchequer.
NAB has also approved the filing of reference against Syed Arif, Canal View owners and another reference against former chairman Balochistan Development Authority Sadat Anwar over corruption charges.
The inquiries against Nisar Ahmed Afzal and Saghir Ahmed Afzal were also approved.
