Lahore: The NAB has submitted its report for closing its twenty-year-old inquiry against Chaudhry brothers over the defaulter of a bank loan.
The report submitted by the anti-graft body stated that the inqurity has been shut after now evidence found against the accused becuase the allegations levelled against the Chaudhry brothers are not applicable on them.
Counsel of the Chaudhry brothers, Amjad Pervez had viewed that the anti-corruption body could not prove that from which bank the Chaudhry’s took loans and in which bank they have to pay back the debt.
The counsel had insisted that the NAB after 20 years reached on a conclusion that the inquiry be closed.
The court after receiving the NAB report disposed off the case.
