Lahore: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday closed an inquiry of 12 plots against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif .
An accountability Lahore Judge Jawad Ul Hassan approved the NAB insistence to close the inquiry against Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA).
The NAB in its point of view for closing the inquiry said that all the data and record have burnt in the fire incident at LDA building.
The investigation officer of NAB told the court that allegations leveled on Shahbaz Sharif are not traceable and they didn’t find any evidence of his involvement in the case.
The NAB also viewed that many persons nominated in the inquiry have died already adding that those who passed away included Mian Atta Ullah, Mian Raza Atta Ullah.
Sources said that the inquiry against the ex-chief minister had been pending for awarding 20 plots to persons of his choice for twenty years.
