National Accountability Bureau (NAB) executive board in chair of its Chairman Qamar Uzaman Chaudhry has approved filing of three references in corruption cases.
The executive board meeting held today (Monday) in chair of Qamar Uzaman Chaudhry and the huddle decided to file corruption references against former minister of Baluchistan Asfandyar Kakar and his accomplices.
According to the NAB hand out second reference will be filed against owner of Harris Steel Mill, Shiekh Muhammad Afzal while another reference in corruption charges will be filed against former vice-chancellor of Bahauddin Zikraya University Khwaja Alqama. The former vc has allegation of establishing illegal campus of the University in Lahore.
The NAB hand out that verification will be conducted in corruption case against MNA Azhar Qayoom Nahira and his brother Mudasir Qayoon Nahira. The brothers from Gujranwala have charges of making assets crossing their income.
Furthermore, the NAB board has also decided to initiate inquiry against former MPA from Multan Javeed Ahmed Siddique and officers of railway ministry in corruption charges.
