Karachi: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed another reference against co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari in the fake account case.

The graft-body has filed reference of eight billion rupees money laundering against Asif Ali Zardari. The reference has filed after the NAB investigation of suspected transactions of Rs eight billion.

According to the NAB, it has solid evidences that Asif Zardari has made house in Clifton from the money earned from corruption.

Stenographer of Asif Ali Zardari had given money for purchase of the house in Clifton. The stenographer Mushtaq had paid 100. 5 million rupees from his accounts for the purchase of the Clifton house.

The NAB apprised futher that Asif Ali Zardari himself could not give any evidence of the house purchase in Clifton adding that stenographer Mushtaq Ahmed had travelled with Asif Ali Zardari on 104 foreign trips. While both have temporary address of F-8 Islamabad.

Asif Zardari was provided a questioner about the house purchase in Clifton but he didn’t give any reply on it. When the anti-corruption body tried to make stenographer part of the investigation but he ran away after it.
