Islamabad (April 10, 2018): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has handed over the recovered money, which was looted through corruption to the concerned departments as cheques of Rs more than 40 million has been transferred to them on Tuesday.
The cheques were handed over to the concerned departments by the Director General Lahore Shehzad Saleem.
The NAB hands over the recovered amount to Pak PWD, Citizen Community Board Sheikhupora , Gujranawala Irrigation Cooperative Housing Society, Pakistan Railways and Bank of Punjab.According to NAB spokesperson, the most of the money brought back form accused through Plea Bargain.
Spokesperson also mentioned that NAB strictly following the zero tolerance policy against corruption and the investigations in corruption cases being continued without any influence and on merit.
