RAWALPINDI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday investigated ex-interior minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal in the alleged corruption in the Norowal Sports City Complex.
The PML-N senior leader and ex-minister for interior and planning Ahsan Iqbal appeared before the anti-graft body joint investigation team in Rawalpindi.
The anti-corruption body probed the ex-minister regarding use of illegal powers for providing funds in the construction of Norowal Sports City Project for about an hour and a half.
Later, the NAB has asked his reply within two weeks after providing the ex-minister a questioner.
Talking to media after appearing before the NAB, Ahsan Iqbal said that we all hands over for their arrest but will not bow down to PM Imran Khan while he declared the incumbent government the worst then Musharraf government.
He said that his party constructed symbols of development throughout the country while he said that if the government wanted to accountability then it should investigate Peshawar BRT project which turned the entire city into ruins.
