NAB Orders Probe Against MNA, Member OGRA

Islamabad (May 22, 2018): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday ordered a probe against member national assembly Riazul Haq and member Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) member for illegal use of state funds and land.

According to NAB, the bureau’s chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal directed inquiry against the member Punjab assembly Shah Nawaz Khan for alleged possession of government school building and former minister for health and trade Chaudhary Muhammad Shafique for illegally grabbing of state land.

Chairman NAB taking the notice of complaints has also ordered an investigation against the establishment of companies out of the procedure by petroleum division and other federal ministries.Chairman NAB has ordered probe against member OGRA for misuse of powers, MPA Abdul Kareem Somro for income more than known means and deposit of five billion rupees in JS Bank from civil aviation authority by breaching the law and procedure.
