Islamabad (March 07, 2018): The accountability court will resume the hearing of interim NAB references against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retired) Safdar today.
Judge Muhammad Bashir will resume hearing of the interim NAB references against Nawaz Sharif and others.
Earlier on March 05, the accountability court adjourned the hearing into interim NAB References against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in- law Capt retd Safdar till March 07.
According to details, the NAB interim references case against the Sharif family was heard in the accountability court of Judge Muhammad Bashir.
The sharif’s counsel Khwaja Haris argued with the witness Abdul Hannan. The witness told that the court that he do not personally knew the officer who provided with the details of the off shore companies.

The court proceedings were adjourned till March 07 after the counsel of Sharif family completed his arguments with the witness.
Earlier in the day, the accountability court proceedings into NAB References against Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt Retd Safdar continued at the courtroom of the accountability judge Muhamad Bashir.
Acting on the directives of the court, the former prime minister, his daughter and son-in-law appeared before the court.

The defendants counsel Khwaja Haris said that his client was not feeling well and be allowed to skip the proceedings after marking his attendance. The court accepted the plea.
It is pertinent to mention here that four witnesses would record their testimonies in the case today and Khwaja Haris would argue with them.
Earlier the former premier arrived at the capital city via a plane along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
It is the second appearance before the court after being disqualified as the party head.
The party sources informed that Nawaz Sharif after the hearing would leave for Punjab House and attend a Muslim League meeting as its lifetime Quaid.
The meeting would discuss the appointments of party candidates for chairman and deputy chairman Senate and possible alliances with other parties.
