ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has strongly denied giving any kind of interview to the columnist Javed Chaudhry as he did not present facts in a correct manner.
The NAB spokesman said that the columnist Javed Chaudhry did not present facts in his columns in a correct manner while some conclusion he drew regarding few personalities and cases in his columns were not correct and his own point of view.
The columnist had admitted that the impression he gave for the Chairman NAB pertaining to the illness of a party, apparently PML-N, head was not correct, the spokesman added.
The spokesman said that the columnist deviated from its own content in a column appeared on May 16 while Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal did not give any interview to the columnist.
The anti-graft body believes in the investigation against the corrupt elements under the ambit of law while it was court authority to decide filed references of the NAB adding that distorted facts were allegedly produced before the court.
Chairman NAB respected all the politicians of the country while the Chairman NAB served honorable judiciary for more than 35 years adding that the Chairman even can’t think of anything that stated by the columnist.
