NAB Summons Hamza Shahbaz Today

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz has been summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today (FRIDAY).

As per details, NAB has again summoned PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz today at 11 am in connection to the probe against him in a case pertaining to possessing assets beyond his known source of income.

Earlier, Hamza was summoned by the anti-graft watchdog on April 10 but he requested the accountability bureau that he cannot make an appearance on the said date due to his some other businesses. To which, NAB has resummoned him in the said case.

Earlier on April 10, the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted pre-arrest bail to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and the Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz till April 17 after he filed two separate petitions seeking to restrict the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting him in the Saaf Pani and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.

As per details, Hamza Shahbaz filed two separate petitions seeking to restrict the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting him in the Saaf Pani and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.

He arrived in the Lahore High Court (LHC) to seek bail-in assets beyond the known source of income cases. After getting bail in the said case he filed two more petitions seeking to grant him pre0arrest bails in Saaf Pani and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases which were fixed for the immediate hearing.

A two-member of the LHC heard the case in which Hamza’s counsel told the court his client is might be arrested by the NAB so a pre-arrest bail should be granted.

After a short hearing, the court accepted Hamza’s plea and granted him a pre-arrest bail in cases pertaining to Saaf Pani and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.
