NAB Summons Shahid Khaqan Abbasi In LNG Case Today

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in a case pertaining to alleged irregularities in the tenders of LNG-Terminal tenders on Thursday (tomorrow).

According to a notification issued by the NAB, Shahid Khaqan has been summoned as the then petroleum minister and is directed to appear before the NAB today at its Rawalpindi office at 10 am.

He is accused of granting tenders of LNG-Terminal to his blue-eyed individuals and caused a loss of millions to the national exchequer.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had appeared before the NAB three times for the inquiry and the anti-graft body has diverted the inquiry into a probe and he is expected to be arrested today.
