NAB Takes Vital Decisions on References Against Sharif Family

Islamabad (August 15, 2047): The National Accountability Board (NAB) meeting has taken significant decisions regarding references against Sharif family as per orders given by the apex court in Panamagate case verdict.

The meeting has also decided to open 11 corruption cases in various development projects. Meeting decided to prove corruption bribe charges in construction of 22-kilometer Baring Road in FATA that has caused the loss of Rs 90 million rupees to national exchequer.

It was also decided to investigate illegal allotment of plots in Gwadar. The officials of Gwadar Development has misused their powers and caused the loss of Rs.40 million to national exchequer. The unpaid bills from instaphone to Pakistan Telecommunication caused the loss of Rs 21 billion.

NAB has also decided to probe allegations of forgery and misused of powers against the vice chancellor of University of Punjab Mujahid Kamran.

The corruption charges and misappropriation of funds against sugar mills and misused of powers against MEPCO officials will also be investigated.
