LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz on Wednesday (today) will be produced before an accountability court for remand in Ramzan Sugar Mills reference.
Hamza Shehbaz was arrested by the NAB after Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected the extension in the pre-arrest bail.
The two-member bench, comprising Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi and Justice Shahid Waheed Khan, heard the petition as the PML-N leader appeared before the court amid strict security arrangements.
The PML-N leader was arrested from the premises of LHC.
A large number of PML-N workers were present outside the court and chanted anti-government slogans after the arrest of Hamza Shehbaz.
