Web Desk (August 06, 2018): Abbtakk News and affectees of Takht Pari have exposed secret deal of department of forests and Bahria Town to possess the Takht Pari land illegally. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has already launched a formal investigation in this connection on Monday.
According to sources, the affectees of the Takht Pari land have demanded the transparent inquiry into the illegal possession of Bahria Town.
Sources revealed that following the protest of the land affectees, the false and baseless cases were registered against them and made their lives miserable.

On which, Abbtakk News came for their rescue and raised their voice and flashed the shocking stories of Bahira Town’s atrocities.
The affectees have lauded the Abbtakk News program Benaqab efforts to expose the culprits.
Bahria Town had ‘encroached’ upon 1,170 kanals of forest land, while the forest department had ‘encroached’ on an area measuring 765 kanals of Bahria Town.
On the other hand, NAB has also launched the probe into the Bahria Town’s encroachment on the land of river Sowan. The Bahria Town after encroaching the land of the historic river turned it into commercial land.
Sources said that Bahria Town has possessed either side of the land of River Sowan in 2015 by striking the secret deal with the revenue department Rawalpindi.
Sources confirmed that the case of illegal possession of Sowan land will be presented to the executive board of the anti-graft watchdog for approval.
Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) launched a formal probe against Bahria Town Karachi, Bahria Town Lahore and Bahria Town Rawalpindi, according to a press release issued by the watchdog on Monday.
NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal has directed the relevant directors general to complete their investigation within three months, in line with the court’s directions.
It is learnt that NAB has approved the separate inquiries against Bahira Town on August 01.

On May 4, the Supreme Court, in three hard-hitting verdicts against the real estate empire, had declared the procurement of land by Bahria Town for its housing projects in Karachi, Rawalpindi and Murree null and void while noting that significant transfers and allotments of land to each project had been done illegally.
The court had subsequently ordered the accountability bureau to file references against the individuals responsible for the transfers and to take action against them within three months.
In each order, the bureau was told pick up the thread from where it left off and take its investigations against Bahria Town to their logical end.
