ISLAMABAD: An Accountability-court on Tuesday has summoned former minister for Water and Power Naveed Qamar and Khawaja Asif for the delay in Nandipur Power Project Case as witnesses.
As per details, accountability court’s judge Justice Arshad Malik heard a case pertaining to the delay in Nandipur Power Project Case.
The former premier Raja Parvez Ashraf, former joint-secretary Riaz Mehmood and former secretary Shahid Rafi failed to appear before the court.
The court expressed its anger on the continuous disappearances and summoned two former ministers in the case on next hearing.
During the hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor and Babar Awan exchanged heated arguments.
To which, the court barred them from exchanging such comments in the court and maintain the decorum of the court.
The court after a short hearing postponed the hearing till Thursday.
