Nargis, Sanjay to Star in Torbaaz Based on Afghanistan

Web Desk (December 11, 2017): Nargis Fakhri and Sanjay Dutt have been finalised as main leads in an Afghanistan-based movie Torbaaz.

The Girish Malik-directorial venture Torbaaz is produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra. The story is about child suicide bombers who are trained to believe that they will be taken to heaven in the afterlife after exploding themselves and killing others.

Nargis Fakhri will play the role of an Afghan girl. She will be portrayed as a person who runs and manages an NGO. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt will be shown as a soldier of the armed forces.

Sanjay Dutt will make an attempt on the big screen to change the mindset of the children indulged in war. He will be shown as the ray of hope for these war children in Afghanistan.

The film shooting will be initiated soon after the fulfillment of the formalities. The reports were confirmed film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh.

Both Nargis Fakhri and Sanjay Dutt have worked day in and day out during the past few years. They haven’t worked a lot together too. Talking about the movie, Sanjay Dutt told that he is keen to be a part of such content driven films.

Interestingly, a song named “O Meri Aangan Ki Chidiya Hai Tu” will feature in the film that was initially written by Sanjay Dutt during his time in Yerwada Jail. The emotional song is about father-daughter relationship and will be picturised when Sanju’s character loses his child

Sanjay has acted in various projects after his release in 2017. He will be seen playing different roles in Bhoomi and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 as well.
