Islamabad (June 25, 2018): Interim Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk will chair a high-level huddle in the federal capital on Monday.
The chief election commissioner is likely to brief the high-level huddle on the electoral arrangements, as appellate tribunals across the country continue to hear appeals against the verdicts of returning officers today.Chief ministers of all four provinces, chief secretaries and inspectors general of police will attend the meeting.
Earlier on June 22, the federal cabinet at its meeting chaired by caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk in Islamabad approved the resignation of Chairman Pakistan Baitul Maal Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh.The Secretary Cabinet division had been given the additional charge of Pakistan Baitul Maal.
The meeting also approved an agreement with Sudan for cooperation in human resource.
The cabinet expressed grief and sorrow over the death of veteran diplomat Jamshed Markar and also paid tributes to his services for the country.
