Islamabad: Return of the national heroes of Common Wealth Games 2022 started on Wednesday today.
The splendid reception was given to the players on the Islamabad airport while garland of flowers were presented to the players.
The silver medalist Zaman Anwer, Muhammad Sharif Tahir and bronze medalist Asad Ali returned to the country.
Director General (DG) Sports Board col (retd) Muhammad Asif Zaman welcomed the players on the Islamabad airport.

The DG Sports Board, on the occasion said that we say welcome to our national heroes.
He said that he will himself welcome gold medalist Arshad Nadeem, Noh Dastagir Butt and other medalist over their return to the country.
A ceremony will be held in the honour of the players and they will be honoured with the prizes, the DG said.
The DG apprised that we are giving Rs five million to gold medalists, Rs two million to silver medalists and Rs one million to bronze medalists.
The players, who returned after participating in CWG 2022, expressed happiness over their splendid welcome.
