HYDERABAD: Nationalists parties of Sindh on Sunday took out rallies in support of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project in Hyderabad and Sukkur.
The participants of the rallies were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of the CPEC.
Sindh National Movement chief Ashraf Noonari while addressing a rally in Hyderabad said that the recent wave of terrorism was part of international conspiracy against CPEC.
He was of the view that successful completion of CPEC would result in ending joblessness and sense of deprivations in provinces.
He declared those protesting against the project as India’s agent. The participants of the rally said that the aim of the rally was to expose the conspiracy against the project by some so-called nationalists.
They said that a conspiracy was being hatched to deprive Sindh and Sindhi people from the benefits of CPEC.
Rallies were also taken out in support of CPEC in Sukkur. A rally was taken out from Military Road which culminated at Sukkur Press Club. Sindh Sujjag Party workers raised slogans against those opposing CPEC.
The participants of the rally said that CPEC would result in prosperity of Sindh and the country and those opposing the project were enemy of the country.
