LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Thursday expressed his concerns over the poor economic policies of the government and directed his party leaders to speed up their mass contact drive.
As per details, while talking to co-party leaders during his meeting in Jail he said after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the dollar hike is alarming. Prices of petrol, diesel and fertilizer are already talking to the sky.
He directed his party leaders to speed up their mass contact campaign at the local level and re-organize the party on union council level so the party can become a voice of the masses.
Nawaz directed Ahsan Iqbal to take up the lead role in mass contact campaign.
The visiting leaders of the PML-N also inquired about the health of the former premier and told them he is fine and Ramazan is passing smoothly.
It is pertinent to mention here that every Thursday is fixed for meetings of the former premier in Jail.
