ISLAMABAD: The incarcerated prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif on Monday filed another plea in Supreme Court of Pakistan seeking early hearing of his previously filed bail plea.
The filed plea states that Nawaz Sharif’s health has worsened in prison, therefore, it is pleaded before the court to set an early hearing of the case in the ongoing week.
Previously, the top court had rejected Nawaz’s plea seeking the same purpose, stating that date for the hearing of plea will be set as per the schedule and not earlier than that.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan instructed the Punjab CM Usman Buzdar to provide every possible health facility to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif.
I have asked the Punjab CM to ensure that every health facility in the country is made available for Nawaz Sharif to get the treatment of his choice. The federal govt will assist wherever required. I wish him good health.
