LAHORE: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif can escape his sentence if he accepts plea bargain offer of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
As per details, a meeting was held at Lahore under the presidency of Federal Information Minister which was attended by provincial health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, spokesperson of the Punjab CM Shehbaz Gill and others.
At the end of the meeting, he said, “Nawaz was shifted to the hospital upon the recommendations of the medical board, where he has access to all of the facilities he needed.”
“However, he himself returned to jail after the verdict,” he added.
“Nawaz’s family is also pressing him for treatment abroad, they don’t want him to be treated here,” he further added.
“He has been given all of the basic necessities as far as his health is concerned, but he is refusing to be treated,” concluded Fawad.
