Lahore (October 05, 2017): Former Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PM-N) Nawaz Sharif left for London from Allama Iqbal International Airport.

The former PM departed for London via a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-575.

The flight was scheduled to fly at 11:00 am today. However, it returned from run-way after health condition of one of the passengers on-board of the plane deteriorated.

Later, the flight departed for London after 1.45 hour delay.

At airport, Punjab Minister for Food Bilal Yaseen met Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz is going to to UK to tend to his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.Earlier on Wednesday evening, Nawaz Sharif attended the youth workers convention in Lahore.

Talking to workers, Nawaz Sharif extended the congratulation to them over PML-N victory in NA-120 by-poll, in which PML-N candidate Kalsoom Nawaz defeated PTI’s candidate Yasmeen Rashid with over 14000 votes’ lead.

Nawaz Sharif claimed that the load shedding was at the verge of elimination.

He went on saying that Pakistan was heading towards rapid development but he was ousted and the development wheel was stopped.

“Do you understand why i was ousted , anyone can tell me,” he asked from people and replied himself, “No one realize why was I ousted, even legal experts could understand the verdict of the court.”

“You have proven that this [victory] is the real verdict and not the verdict that came before,” Nawaz said referring to the Supreme Court’s judgement in the Panama Papers case that ousted him.

“The conditions under which the election was contested… I want to congratulate you from my heart,” Nawaz added.

Nawaz, hopeful that his party would win the 2018 election, added that the PML-N government will be “invincible”.The former premier then recounted his government’s accomplishments since the beginning of his tenure in 2013.
