LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz telephoned Nawaz’s sons, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, apprised them about the arrangements they are making for his traveling abroad.
Maryam Nawaz expressed that all the arrangements have been completed here while she is just waiting for the clearance certificate.
After the order of the Lahore High Court (LHC) to remove former premier Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL), preparations of his travel to London has started.
According to sources, an air ambulance reservation is also underway from Qatar to take Nawaz Sharif to London. The former premier will be treated at Harley Street Clinic in London. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo will be shifted to the hospital as soon as he arrives in London.
Currently, the Sharif family is waiting for the Interior Ministry to exclude Nawaz’s name from the ECL.
Earlier, while rejecting the objection by the federal government on its proposed draft, the Lahore High Court on Saturday ordered to remove the name of former premier from Exit Control List (ECL) and allowed him to travel abroad to get health treatment for four weeks.
