ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad has issued arrest warrants of former premier Nawaz Sharif in the treasure house reference of fake account case while Asif Zardari granted exemption from appearance for today.

The hearing of the treasure house reference of the fake account case was held in the AC Islamabad wherein the NAB prosecutor told Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari summons were received on their houses while Anwar Majeed is under treatment in a hospital and summon could not be received there.

The NAB insisted arrest of Yousuf Raza Gillani and Abdul Ghani Majeed which was rejected by the court while summoning Asif Zardari on June 11 was granted exemption from appearance for today and ordered him to appear on next hearing at all cost.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif has an accusation that he got a vehicle from the treasure house in the PPP government era of 2008 to 2013 and payment for it was made by Anwar Majeed through a fake account.

Nawaz Sharif was not on any government post in 2008 and he had not given any application to get a vehicle from the treasure house.
