Nawaz Sharif Extends Stay in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh (January 01, 2018): Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has extended the stay in Saudi Arabia on Monday. His meeting has been scheduled with a high level Saudi government personality.

According to the sources, former Prime Minister was suppose to leave for Pakistan today but he has changed his plan all of sudden to his expected meeting with high level Saudi Government personality that led him to extend his stay in Saudi Arabia.

CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif will also be accompany him during the high level meeting.

Earlier, two-hour long meeting between Nawaz Sharif and chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif was held in Riyadh. Both the PML N leaders discuss the future political course of action and other important issues.Nawaz, Shehbaz Expected To Meet Saudi Crown Prince TodayFormer Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night. He was welcomed at Riyadh airport by Khan Hasham bin Siddique, the country’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The ex-prime minister joined his brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique — both of whom are already in the Kingdom.

Sources told that Nawaz would hold meetings with important personalities while in Saudi arabia.

”The visit is being considered high significance against current situation of Pakistan and regional happenings,” sources added.

Earlier, Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique left for Saudi Arabia along with his family in the wee hours pn Friday.Earlier on Thursday, National Security Adviser retired Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua met former premier Nawaz Sharif at Mr Sharif’s Jati Umra residence in Raiwind, which reportedly lasted five hours, discussed matters of national security, relations with neighbouring countries and terrorism.
