LAHORE: The Sharif family has once again failed to convince former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to shift to the hospital for cardiac treatment from Jail.
The Sharif family including Opposition Leader in NA Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz met with the former premier in Kot Lakhpat jail on Friday.
Shehbaz Sharif said that doctors once again expressed serve reservations over Nawaz Sharif’s health and has advised for the immediate treatment.
Earlier today, Maryam Nawaz in her tweet has requested the concerned authorities to set up a medical emergency unit at the Kot Lakhpat jail for ailing Nawaz Sharif.
“The heart disease of the former premier has worsened. I request the Jail authorities to establish an immediate resuscitation and life-saving unit on Jail premises,” she tweeted.
