LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Friday said that former premier Nawaz Sharif is critically ill and he should be sent abroad for treatment on an urgent basis.
Taking to media persons outside the accountability court in Lahore after hearing of the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case, the PML-N leader said: “Nawaz Sharif’s health is very critical.”
“Shehbaz Sharif is making arrangements for shifting Nawaz Sharif abroad for treatment,” Maryam said, adding: “I cannot travel along with my father due to the name on the exit control list.”
The PML-N vice president said, “After mother, Nawaz Sharif is everything for me. We cannot compromise anything regarding his health.”
