Islamabad (March 12, 2018): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would announce names of the PML-N and allies candidates for the Senate chairman and deputy chairman slot shortly.
According to details, the consultations on the issue to nominate the candidate is ongoing at Munir House in Islamabad where party leaders and allies are mulling over the final strategy for the Senate chairman polls.
The meeting is attended by Pervez Rasheed, Daniyal Aziz, Mushahid Hussain Syed and other PML-N leaders.
According to sources, after the decision from PPP and PTI to bring chairman senate from Balochistan, the PML-N had also decided to bring the Senate chairman candidate from the province.
The top contender for the slot is Mir Hasil Bizenjo while Nuzhat Sadiq is considered for the deputy chairman slot.
