Islamabad (March 10, 2018): National Party Leader Hasil Bizenjo on Saturday said that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif would announce the nominees for the Senate chairman and deputy chairman by tomorrow.
He said this after attending the PML-N and its allies meeting in Islamabad in the chair of Nawaz Sharif. The NP leader said that said all the allies had now mandated Nawaz Sharif to decide whether the chairman would be from the PML-N or allied parties.

“There was no conflicts among the allies of PML-N,” said Bizenjo.
Earlier, Mir Hasil Bizenjo and former chief minister Balochistan Abdul Malik arrived at the meeting venue. Paktunkhua Milli Awami Party Leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai also reached the Munir House to attend the meeting while JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri attended the meeting on behalf of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Senator Usman Kakar and Azam Mosa Khel also attended the meeting. MQM-P leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Farooq Sattar also met Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad meeting.
The former prime minister gave the seat next to him to the NP leader Hasil Bizenjo who is also tipped as the possible contender for the Senate polls from PML-N and allies side.
Meanwhile, although MQM-P Bahadurabad faction had not yet decided as to on which side they would be voting with its convener Khalid Maqbool saying that Faroogh Naseem is still their candidate for the Senate chairman and any decision would be taken in a coordination committee meeting later in the day.
“We are neither allies of PML-N nor PPP,” said Maqbool.
On the other hand the PIB convener Farooq Sattar said that they are ideologically more close to the PML-N.
