LAHORE: Former Premier Nawaz Sharif will not benefit from an annual decrease of punishment on the eve of Eid- Ul-Fitr.
Sources said that the government announces a decrease of punishment for prisoners on national festivals including on both the Eids.
However, Nawaz Sharif will not get any relieved despite the decrease of punishment announced for the prisoners by President Dr Arfi Alvi.
According to jail officials, the punishments are not slashed in the murder, kidnapping for ransom, NAB, terrorism, and treason cases.
