LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will soon return to Pakistan after being declared medically stable.
In exclusive talks with AbbTakk News after Nawaz’s departure to London, the PML-N spokesperson said: “Government always made efforts to delay Nawaz Sharif’s departure but the court allowed him to travel abroad.”
“Doctors’ appointment has been taken in London for Nawaz,” she said.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweeted: “Mian Sahib has completed his journey from ‘Mujhay Kyun Nikala’ to ‘Khuda Kay Liye Mujhay Nikalo’ at a fast pace. It seems that Nawaz Sharif is healthy, however, he will be treated in London now.”
“Democracy is ridiculed when leadership like Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) demands sanctity of vote,” he said.
Fawad further said that it is now worthy to observe whether Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is turning back to the country or not. “However, there are low expectations to return home,” he added.
