Islamabad: The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) was restructured at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) while the NCOC will coordinate with the federal and provincial institutions.
The NCOC has been restructured on the instructions of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the spokesman added. Minister of Health Qadir Patel will head the NCOC.
The spokesman apprised that the ministries, directorates will assist the NCOC in its operations while the NCOC will coordinate with the federal and provincial institutions.

According to the Notification, all concerned Ministries and Directorates will remain engaged in the operations and functions of NCOC as per requirement.
It is pertinent to mention here that after the increasing cases of new type of omicron virus, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had ordered immediate restoration of the NCOC.
