MULTAN: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday said that public issues were increasing following policies of the government failed to control situation in different sectors.
While addressing press conference in Multan, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that formation of South Punjab province was included in manifesto of all political parties. He said that he was proud of development task made for South Punjab during PML-N’s tenure while the political party also presented resolutions for Bahawalpur and South Punjab provinces.
Abbasi claimed that pace of national development was disturbed while the federal government should move forward to re-continue it. He slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led government over rise in inflation. He also demanded restoration of subsidy for Hajj pilgrims as the nationals will have to pay 63 per cent more for performing the ritual this year.
The legislator claimed that Nawaz Sharif has neither sought any NRO [National Reconciliation Ordinance] nor he will demand it in future. He said that the PML-N Quaid will continue his struggle as corruption charges on him was still not proved.
