ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased electricity prices by Rs 1. 78.
The NEPRA has also issued a notification in this regard while according to the notification the prices have been increased as a fuel adjustment charges in the month of July.
This amount will be received by the customers in the month of October while the customers will bear the burden of Rs 24.60 billion in the fuel adjustment charges.
Moreover, while the NEPRA also slashed electricity prices by 13 paisas in the fuel adjustment charges for the month of June and customers will be benefited from the decrease in the same month of October while the customers will be benefited of Rs 1.60 billion in the month of June for the fuel adjustment charges.
