LAHORE: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that new locomotives will be assembled in Pakistan Railway(PR) factories and added that they will provide more facilities to the passengers and upgrade the whole system.
While chairing a high-level meeting at PR’s Headquarter in Lahore, Saad Rafique said that every possible support will be given to the investor and out sourced trains. He said that they had devised a plan for next 15 years and a comprehensive strategy for procurement of new locomotives by keeping track capacity.
He said that only few locomotives will be imported as a model and rest of all engines will be assembled in PR’s factories.
