KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Kaleem Imam on Monday night visited the bereaved family of Nimra Baig, a young medical student who was shot dead last week during an exchange of fire between police and suspected robbers in North Karachi.
Sindh police chief went to the residence of the deceased medical student, where he expressed grief over the incident and condoled with the bereaving family.
He assures Nimrah’s family of justice and announced to conduct a transparent probe into the matter.
Earlier, a first information report (FIR) had been filed on Sunday against the killing of Nimra Baig.
