LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday rejected the Punjab cabinet decision not to allow extension in former premier Nawaz Sharif bail.
Opposition leader in the NA, Shahbaz Sharif said that all the medical reports of former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif were submitted as per decided procedure.
The PML-N leader termed the decision of Punjab Cabinet of not extending Nawaz Sharif’s bail as political revenge.
We approached the court as we had an idea about the aims of incumbent government, he added.Earlier, the Punjab Cabinet has refused to extend the bail of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The most of the members of the meeting of Punjab cabinet rejected extension in the former premier bail.
The cabinet said that it has decided not giving extension in Nawaz Sharif’s bail in the light of his medical reports.
While addressing the press conference, the provincial ministers told that Nawaz Sharif has failed to submit required medical reports in the board and committee.
Haven’t received any satisfactory reply from the ex-premier despite passage of sixteen weeks, they stated.
The minister further told that Nawaz Sharif has not been admitted to any hospital yet for proper medical treatment.
