LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that no discrimination will be made in the distribution of funds in various districts of the province while the provincial government is focusing more on the development of backward districts.
Strict security measures were taken on Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar visit to Multan as the CM reached the circuit house of Multan without any protocol.
Chief Minister Punjab met high officials of Southern Punjab areas upon arrival the circuit house, where the CM was given detail briefing on development projects continued in DG Khan and other areas.
The CM said that an amount of more than Rs 61billion is being expanded on 477 development projects in DG Khan adding that 85 percent of work has been completed on these projects.
Usman Buzdar categorically said that no compromise will be made on the quality and timeline of these projects.
He directed immediate completion of upgrading work of district headquarter hospital in DG Khan and also ordered early construction of Zikriya University’s Bahadur campus building.
