Islamabad (June 16, 2017): The Securities and Exchanges Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on Friday said that no officer of the Commission was involved in leaking Hussain Nawaz photo of appearance before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Shairf family’s finances.
A spokesman of the Commission rejected the reports that its officer was involved in leaking of any photo of the JIT investigation.

He added that neither any complaint was received from JIT against any of its officers not any officer of the SECP was returned to the Commission.
It is to be mentioned here that a photo showing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz sitting in the Joint Investigation Team’s (JIT) interrogation room was leaked on social media earlier this month.
Hussain Nawaz had moved to SC demanding constitution of a commission to probe into leaking of his photo.
The JIT in his reply submitted on Nawaz’s petition had informed the Supreme Court that it had probed the issue and the man behind the leak was identified and subsequently sent back to his parent department.
However, the JIT had not named the accused or his parent department in the response.
