No Sector Including Power Was Given Relief:  Omar Ayub

ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for power and energy  Omar Ayub setting aside news regarding relief to power sector said that no sector was given any kind of relief or concession.

“Government wants to solve the GIDC issue to provide relief to the general public as the GIDC law states first the audit of fertilizers companies would be conducted first as Rs 217 billion had collected in GIDS head as the prices of the fertilizer have been dropped,” he said while addressing press conference along with Firdous Ashiq Awan and Nadeem Babar in Islamabad.

The special assistant to PM on petroleum Nadeem Babar said that first the ambiguity over GIDC will be removed and then fertilizers companies audit will be conducted it will help to minimize the burden of cost on users.

Nadeem Babar said the previous government has waived off 50 per cent by signing an agreement with CNG sector, however, the government wanted to end all past issues to get a new beginning.

Talking on the occasion, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said India cannot suppress the just voice of Kashmiri people.
