Number of Voters in First-Ever Elections in Merged Tribal Districts

PESHAWAR: For the first time in Pakistan’s history, voters from merged tribal districts are casting their votes to elect their representatives for the Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa assembly.

A total of 2.80 million residents, including 1.67 million men and 1.13 million women, will exercise their right to vote.

Of the 1,897 polling stations, 482 are for men and 376 for women, while 1,039 are combined. A total of 5,653 polling booths have been established. They include 3,437 for men and 2,216 for women.

BAJAUR

Of the 104 polling stations in PK-100 Bajaur, 10 each are for men and women, while 84 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 156,237, including 94,937 men and 61,300 women.

Of the 103 polling stations in PK-101 Bajaur, eight each are for men and women, while 87 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 161,047, including 94,349 men and 66,698 women.

Of the 131 polling stations in PK-102 Bajaur, 21 are for men and 18 for women, while 92 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 216,719, including 126,358 men and 97,361 women.

MOHMAND

86 polling stations have been set up in PK-103 Mohmand, 22 are for men and 31 for women. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 110,480, including 66,432 men and 42,008 women.

Of the 108 polling stations in PK-104 Mohmand, 40 are for men and 41 for women, while 37 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 170,022, including 106,749 men and 63,273 women.

KHYBER

There are 110 polling stations in PK-105 Khyber, 58 for men and 44 for women, while eight are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 167,784, including 94,514 men and 72,970 women.

In PK-107 Khyber, 146 polling stations have been set up, of which 75 are for men and 55 for women, while eight are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 216,135, including 123, 683 men and 92,450 women.

KURRAM

Out of 135 polling stations in PK-108 Kurram, 26 each for men and women, while 83 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 172,897, including 99,534 men and 73,363 women.

Out of 130 polling stations in PK-109 Kurram, 46 each for men and women, while 38 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 187,844, including 105,284 men and 82,560 women.

ORAKZAI

In PK-110 Orakzai, 171 polling stations have been set up, of which four each are for men and women, while 167 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 196,436, including 110,741 men and 85,696 women.

NORTH WAZIRISTAN

In PK-111 North Waziristan, out of 76 polling stations, 35 are for men and 18 for women, while 25 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 141,053, including 92,845 men and 48,208 women.

There are 102 polling stations in PK-112 North Waziristan, 26 for men and 13 for women, while 63 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 179,124, including 117,811 men and 61,313 women.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN

In PK- 113 South Waziristan, out of 140 polling stations, 19 are for men and 16 for women, while 105 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 218,835, including 122,197 men and 96,638 women.

In PK-114 South Waziristan, out of 98 polling stations, 24 are for men and 14 for women, while 60 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 167,994, including 115,572 men and 52,422 women.

FRONTIER REGIONS

In the PK-115 FR area, out of 163 polling stations, 13 each are for men and women, while 137 are combined. Total numbers of voters in this constituency are 191,062, including 164,444 men and 74,618 women.
