KARACHI: The ongoing protest if the nurses and paramedical staff on Thursday might enter in the decisive phase as the protestors are now going to stage a sit-in in front of the CM House.
As per details, the ongoing protest of the nurses is underway in front of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) since past four days but the health department hasn’t negotiated with them till to date. The protesting nurses have boycotted the emergencies, OPDs and ICUs since the past four days.
The protesting nurses have threatened that if their demand will not be met by today they will stage a protest outside the Sindh CM House.
A day earlier, the nurses of Sindh’s government hospitals staged a protest for the third consecutive day outside the KPC.
The protesting nurses chanted slogans against the provincial health department of Sindh.
However, the protesting nurses have demanded to recruit as much as 10,000 nurses across the province to meet the shortage of staff and also demanded scholarships for their children, Service Structure and provincial Allowance.
