Peshawar (August 27, 2018): The sworn in ceremony of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shah Farman has been rescheduled from tomorrow, August 28, to September 5.
The nominated governor KP Shah Farman is also the member of KP assembly. Sources told that because he has to cast the vote in presidential election, which will be held on September 04, therefore his swearing ceremony has been postponed.
Shah Farman will resign from KP assembly after the presidential election.It is pertinent to mention that the sworn in ceremony of governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar has already been delayed as he wished to play the role to elect Arif Alvi as president.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail has taken oath as 33rd Governor of Sindh Today.
Chief Justice Sindh High Court administered the oath at Governor House Karachi.
